Sorry to hear about your sister being diagnosed with AA. Atg treatment consists of 4 to 11 days of iv therapy including cycloporine given with it two times a day. Usually they also will give you prednisone for about a month to help reduce the side effects.

I think the first day was the roughest as I had a hard time breathing and some vomiting with it. It got easier the following day.

When your sister gets home she will feel like she has the bad case of the flu.

I think a positive attitude is a plus with having AA.
