I have a very good friend that has aplastic anemia. She has been getting transfusions for quite awhile. She had a bone marrow transplant last month, November, but it seems to not have made her any better. Is there any other treatment that she can get that will not make her as sick as the transfusions did? I do now know that much about this disease so any information would be very helpful. Thank you very much.
