I had both flu and colds during my low counts. I didn't take any meds for them and they both passed relatively quickly. I also had to care for both my son's, sick with the flu. I was very careful about direct contact and did lots of handwashing. I never got the flu. It's surprising how well my immune system did work during my low counts, as I rarely got sick. The flu is another issue though, I am still on Cyclo. and the Cyclo. suppressess the T-Cells which would help to fight off the flu.
