HI Karen,
My husband is the one with AA. He's alway had borderline counts but no one ever thought that it was important. Before John's count started the decline, we had gone through a simiilar allergy testing/clearing and detox program because of some issues I was having. It cleared up his hayfever but did nothing for his blood counts. Again, this was before we new he had a problem. I would continue with the NEAT and see if his counts continue to improve. If they do, then it's a good indication that treatment is helping him. Do keep in mind that AA can go into remission on it own. I believe that it happened a couple time with my husband. We each carry a toxic burden be it from food, the environment, stress, medications, viruses, bacteria, pathogens. etc. At some point you reach an overload threshold and your body gets sick. So lessening the toxic burden through healthy eating, acupunture, NEAT, etc, allows the body to heal itself. In some cases it's obvious and you can see a one-to-one correlation to your actions and you may have hit upon it with NAET.
There are two other method that may interest you. One is JMT (jaffe-mellor technique) Very similar to NEAT and they've had success with reversing chrons and RA. And the other is NMT. Neurmodulation Technique. Both are bio-energetic medicines. And as you said, you need to find someone really skilled. This is just as much an art as it a science. Just like in traditional medicine, not all doctors are healers.
Good luck and continue to work on getting his counts up!
Marlene
