I would like a site where I can share my experiences and both give my support/information to those whose loved ones have recently been diagnosed as well as receive support/information from others whose loved ones have been through several treatments (failed or successful).

As hard as this illness has been on my father, I know those close to him have suffered. I hear from so many AA patients that the strength and support from family and friends was important in their recovery. (positive thinking!!!) I never knew how much I liked the words "recovery" and "remission". Now adays I Pray for them. I continue to try and keep faith and maintain a positive attitude, although on dads bad days this is tough. I thank God for my support system as well as my family's support system.

If you have AA and have been through any kind of treatments or refused certain treatments, Please ask your loved ones if they would be interested in sharing their story and offering support to people like me? Or if you or a loved one was recently diagnosed or you know someone who has a loved one who was recently diagnosed with AA who is looking for support and is trying to prepare themselves for what is in store please feel free to email me at missile103@aol.com. I can share my first hand experiences with you in helping my father (who also happens to be my business partner and one of my best friends). I was with him from the diagnosis stage through his first and second and third hospitalizations, and we have a long road ahead of us.

I hope we can help others and each other. Melissa
