Hi AEBIZ, I don't think I'd be a lot of help in the discussion forum. My mother was diagnoised w/AA in Nov. '00. She died at the end of Jan. '01. She was 60 years old. My family learned all we could about AA. There is not a lot of info or awareness about the disease out there. We were all discouraged about the lack of info such as what caused it or what would cure it or make it manageable. There didn't seem to be enough or any solid answers out there for us. None of the medical treatments worked for my mother but she had other problems like lupus and multiple myloma (sp?). I think her other health problems contributed to the quick downfall of her health. I do wish you good luck. From what I've read, it seems now that AA is a manageable condition and has much more rates of success for treatment and a cure than in the past. If I can help you any, just let me know! Take Care, Laurie Lorino
