Hi Kathy, Have not had a mini or BMT, but just went over the options with my hemo. His position is: There is not enuf data on the mini et this time. it involves less chemo & no radiation (or less radiation). His mortality stats are: 10% 90 days, 20% 6mo, 40% 1 year. Also said they want graft vs host disease to take place. Once it starts and they treat & control it the patients recovery rate increases dramatically. You may want to run that by your hemo.
