Hi Mindy, Its amazing how being diagnosed with a fatal disease makes everything more enjoyable. We went to Galveston Bay in the good ole salt water.Its on the other side of Houston from us, we live north of Houston in Spring, Tx. I also live 45 ml. from my Dr. at MD Anderson (thats one way) .Did you know you can take there and back and the 9$ for parking off of taxes. So ya'll be sure and keep track of your Dr. appt.s. Anyway that was my 1st time sailing and I really enjoyed it. Since I have been diagnosed I have pretty much been the party pooper of the family. Last summer I was in the hospital the whole time the kids were out of school so we didn't get to have a vacation or anything. So this yr. I'm not letting them do anything til the kids are back in school. I do o.k. if I get plenty of rest. It also helps that I have been approved for social security disability.I also need my occasional fill ups ( tx.) Anyway I plan on partying all summer long! God Bless Ya'll, Stephanie MDS 7-2000
