I don't know if anyone else is keeping up with Lizzy(she is listed as Kim) on the AAStories part of this web site. Anyway I was watching and keeping up with her every day. She is 10 and plays all-star softball and I have a 9yr. old (she keeps up with Lizzy too) Madison who does the same. So it hits close to home. Her mom was writing every day before and after her BMT which was just 6-15-01 and she just stopped for 4-5 days and I was afraid for the worse. Luckly she just had no changes so no need to update. Praise God she is still doing great and even got her 1st ANC #80 .She is far from being through this thing and has some of the really bad side effects still to deal with, so she needs all of us to pray and pull for her every day. I am blessed that it was me instead of my children. I would hate for any of my 5 to have to go through all the pokes and biopsies and all that yuky stuff we have to do every day. I really hate to see the children that have to deal with the terrible monsters of fatal illness that is out there. Can ya tell I LOVE KIDS. Anyway please keep this and the other little ones on your minds and in your prayers and if you happen to be well off(which I'm not) send them a cool hospital toy. It might take some time from your day but just imagine how it makes the little ones feel to know there are strangers out there that love and pray for them. God Bless Ya'll, Steph MDS 7-2000
