Hi Amy! I was treated for severe aplastic anemia at the beginning of Feb '01. I received ATG and am currently on cyclosporine and MMF. I am participating in a clinical trial at NIH in which I stay on the cyclo for 6 months then stop cold-turkey (in a month or so). I will remain on the MMF a total of 18 months. I haven't had a transfusion since March 6. My white cell line is still low and struggling. I'm not really the best to tell you the effectiveness of this treatment because I'm basically in the "wait and see" period as well. Where, if you don't mind my asking, are you being treated?
