Welcome, Erica! I'm sorry to hear about your aplastic anemia, but happy you found a group with whom to communicate. According to Dr. Young, from the National Institutes of Health (where I, like Amy, am being treated), "...long-term prognosis does not appear to be affected by relapse." So, although a relapse is a HUGE disappointment (to say the least), it appears odds are very much in your favor for another "remission". I am currently "dreading" the possibility of relapsing myself, because I will be taken off the cyclosporine in a month (no tapering). My hopes are that the cyclosporine will do the trick for you, but if for some reason it doesn't, I'm sure the ATG will come through for you again. I wish you all the best!!!!
