Bruce, Congratulations on receiving a recommendation for a t-cell depletion BMT. (pretty strange to be congratulating someone for this, isn't it?) But, it is good news that you obviously appear to be a good candidate. I will be extremely interested to hear the details. Bone marrow transplants, more than anything else, confuse me so much. There are so many variations....how does one know which route to take? Have you already begun your search for a MUD? What are the results? Are they looking for a 6/6 match only? Bruce, how did your "team" decide you don't appear to be responding to the second dose? It is strictly due to your blood counts, or have they looked at your marrow? What was your cellularity before treatment? Do you know what it is now? (I'll be finding that out soon myself...also if I've developed any "additional" secondary clonal diseases..wouldn't that be a treat?) I am so glad to hear you received encouraging news. Thanks again for all your work. Your website is wonderful. Best wishes. Susie, 35 SAA
