Hi Laura! Sounds like Larry's doing really well now! Congrats! Good luck on your bone marrow drive and your new job, too! You definitely have your hands full! Things are going pretty well for me, too, thanks for asking. Reds and whites have been hitting normal ranges for quite some time now. Platelets are still below normal, but seem to still be trying to increase. They have been bouncing back and forth in the 90ks and 100ks recently. (109K being tops so far). I'm finally done with my phlebotomies to reduce my iron overload! Iron is now in the normal range, and I don't go back for another CBC until 3 more months. (Have been phlebotomizing 500mL once every month for the past 2 years, but no more! Yee hee!) Otherwise, I've been keeping myself busy to stay out of trouble. Heh. Been taking riding lessons and fell of the horse a couple weeks ago. LOL No broken bones, only broke a tiny blood vessel in my nose. LOL (Now I have another war story to tell my grandchildren). And this Saturday I'm going on a week vacation to Mexico. We're taking a cruise on the Princess cruise lines, and I'm SOOO ready to go!!! And that's it for now! Take care! Marla
