i'm wondering how often a person should be scheduled to see their doc after being newly diagnosed? my brother was diagnosed with SAA 2 weeks ago 10/18, began treatment 10/19 (horse +) and was released from the hospital saturday, 10/23. he has blood checks mon/wed/friday, has had 1 transfusion 10/25, but not scheduled to see the doc until 11/10. does this seem to be the protocol, as his anxiety with wondering and waiting seems to be more stressful than i'd think he should be feeling. any input/experiences are appreciated.
