I underwent the ATG/Cyclo/Pred back in April. I had CSA levels done every week along with creatine levels, etc. They changed my Cyclo dose often. I had a horrible fungal infection in my mouth after the treatment and they put me on diflucan for about 4 months. This medication also caused a huge flucuation in my CSA and it took them a few weeks to figure that out. So be aware that other medications can affect how your body absorbs and retains the cylco. Recently, after being taken off the prednisone, I began to develop a myopathy (diffuse muscle weakness) to the point that I was having trouble getting up out of a chair or going up and down stairs. My physician felt that it was the cyclosp. and took me off completely. At the same time they began 5mg dose of prednisone. My myopathy is gone but I'm not sure what is going to happen to my counts. I am having them done tomorrow. My last RBC transfusion was 3 weeks ago. My response to the ATG so far has been weak. I am out of danger but not close to normal. I hope some of this helps.
