marlene, thanks for your input. i'm new to this, not only SAA but the message board as well. i admire the attitude and help that you are so willing to offer others - my thanks to you for that. i'll put out a new message for the seattle medical clinic, as i'm hoping to hear some positive input on that. it's so difficult to know what to do next, and actually, being the adult sister of the adult patient, i want to help in whatever way i can, but i certainly don't want my family to think i'm trying to make their decisions for them. thanks again for your time and input. it's content is invaluable - jerilue
