what to expect after 1+ month of treatment

there have been a few changes in my brothers rx in the past 2 weeks, although he was only diagnosed 1 month ago, has been and is being aggressively treated. is there a "common" practice, something that you might offer in your experiences? ie: cyclosporine has been adjusted 3 times, taken off of the daily injections of (?) 2 days ago (which he's very happy about) and although he's not being told he's progressing or improving, the doc did comment that he's testing as they would think and want him to be. it all seems so vague to me in comparison to what all of you write. jerilue
