This goes along with our experience, too, that the WBC rises in response to infection. Ken had a flu shot a month ago (NOT a live vaccine, I made sure), and the next week his ANC had shot up from 1.1 to 2.6. We were all excited, but then the following week it droppped back down to 0.9. If your ANC is falling, I would guess that your bladder infection might be the result of that, rather than the cause, but it's so hard to figure out which of the many factors is causing what result. Let's hope this is just a temporary setback, and your counts start to rise again soon. -Lisa
