i dont relly know where to start with this. my wife is from china she has had aplastic anaemia since she was nine .she hadnt really been treated much until a few years ago when the doctors in china started treating her with cyclosphorine . she is 27 now . she came to england 2 years ago . we went to the hospital here and the doctors done some blood tests and told us he has never seen anyone walking around with there hgb so low 3.8 i dont know what the rest of her blood was at that time . they gave her blood for the first time in her life and told her to take 100mg of cyclosphorine 2 times a day , because before she was only taking about 25 a day because its too expensive in china . in these past 2 yrs shes had about 8 blood transfusions and about 4 platlet transfusions . she gets blood when her hgb is about 6 and her platlets stay about 18-23. last month she seen a proffessor in london and decided to try alg treatment . the first day of the treatment her bones hurt all over then the next 4 days were ok. 3 days after the alg her wbc went to 5.5 before it was 2.5 her nutrophils went from 0.9 to 2.6 this was just 3 days after . 2 weeks later her nutrophils went down to 0.39 wbc was 1.7 then she got an infection in the line and the tested her blood and her nutrophils are now 1.39 wbc 2.7. i dont know what to think and would like to know anyone elses opinion about these counts and does it usually even 3 days after the treatment thanks mark
